Dr. Luísa Batista is a family physician with over 10 years of experience working with diverse communities and all age groups. Her practice focuses on patient empowerment, strong relationships, and evidence-based medicine. Her main clinical interests include mental health and women’s health, and she holds certifications in smoking cessation, clinical research, and health administration and management.

Dr. Ares Hiawatha Rigas is a general practitioner (GP) with over 20 years of clinical experience across both public and private healthcare settings. His practice combines deep clinical knowledge with a practical, movement-focused approach to care, with special interests in musculoskeletal health, non-invasive pain management, and performance optimization.

Dr. Mónica Vicente Rocha is a family physician with over 15 years of clinical experience across Spain and Portugal, including private practice serving international expat communities in Andalucía. That experience spans hospital and emergency care, pre-hospital and critical care medicine, and family practice. Her work today centers on prevention, continuity, and long-term patient relationships, with clinical interests in women’s health, supplementation, and orthomolecular nutrition.

Dr. Isadora Ávila is a physician with experience in adult and paediatric emergency medicine and in telemedicine, across hospitals in Portugal and Brazil. At TejoMed she provides continuous remote support so that guidance between appointments stays seamless. Guided by the principles of longevity, she brings her own interest in fitness and active living into a holistic approach to patient well-being. She holds a Master's degree in Medicine and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Dr. Rita Clarisse Marques is a Family Medicine specialist with a focus on holistic care. She believes in the blend between conventional and integrative medicine to support long term health results. She provides continuous remote care for TejoMed patients and contributes expertise that guides our broader health strategies. She trained and qualified in Portugal and has practised in Spain and Angola.

Dr. Bianca Silvestre is a Family Medicine resident with a focus on preventive care, maternal and child health, and digital health innovation. At TejoMed she supports patients asynchronously, leads our travel medicine consultations, and contributes to the development of our care model. She holds a Bachelor's in Health Sciences, an Integrated Master's in Medicine, and a postgraduate degree in Health Consulting, and is completing a Master's in Managing Digital Transformation in the Health Sector.
