Women’s Health & Personalized Care
We invite you to explore a sustainable alternative to high-volume medicine.
You became a doctor to heal, to listen, and to solve complex problems. Somewhere along the way, the system made that nearly impossible. It is hard to be the doctor you want to be when the clock is always ticking.
The Role
We are looking for a physician to join a practice built on relationships, blending women’s health expertise with full-spectrum primary care. Whether you are deeply experienced in hormonal health or eager to develop further, we invest in your growth with structured training in menopause management and gender-specific medicine. You won’t just treat symptoms; you will serve as a trusted family physician, building relationships that last for years, not just a provider of transactional care.
If you feel the pressure of the waiting room prevents you from caring for women, not just treating symptoms, TejoMed offers a different path.
The TejoMed Model
Our model is called “Membership Medicine.” Over 14,000 physicians in the US have rebuilt their practices around relationships instead of volume. TejoMed is leading this shift in Portugal.
The difference is time.
The Current Standard: Rushed visits. Fragmented care across specialists. Reactive treatment. 20-30 patients a day.
The TejoMed Way: 30-60 minute appointments. Whole-person care. Proactive health planning. 6-8 patients a day.
Because our patients pay a membership fee for access, you are liberated from high-volume care. You have time to listen, to investigate, and to practice the medicine you trained for.
What Our Doctors Say
“I know my patients, their partners’ names, their jobs, their real health goals - not just their diagnosis.”
“Predictable schedule, predictable income, unpredictable joy in actually helping people again.”
“I can finally practice preventive medicine, listen, and ask ‘what else?’ instead of just putting out fires.”
Who Thrives Here
We are looking for a physician who is passionate about women’s health and sees the whole patient - not just one system.
You might be in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, OB/GYN (seeking a shift away from surgical volume), endocrinology, or trained in functional or integrative approaches. What matters is your approach: you want to support women across their entire health journey - from reproductive years through menopause and beyond.
You are fluent in Portuguese and English and licensed to practice medicine in Portugal.
Our Promise to You
We are well-funded, growing steadily, and building a legacy in Portuguese healthcare. We offer:
Financial Stability: Highly competitive, predictable income based on a membership model, not fee-for-service volume.
Autonomy: You lead the clinical decisions and have your own clinical team dedicated to you.
Support: A professional team handles the “business” side so you can focus 100% on the “doctor” side.
Mastery: Ongoing mentorship and resources to deepen your expertise in hormonal health, ensuring you remain at the forefront of women’s medicine.
Let’s Talk
If you have been wondering whether there is a way to practice women’s health with the time and depth it deserves, without sacrificing stability, we should have a conversation.
No pressure. Just a straightforward discussion about whether this might be right for you.
