Role Summary

A lot of marketing work is convincing people to want things they don’t need. This is the opposite of that.

At TejoMed, what we offer is a doctor who actually knows you and has time for you. People come to us rushed, unheard, and lost in a healthcare system that treats them like a number, whether that’s the SNS, private insurance, or a clinic where they see someone different every visit. We give them one doctor, for the long run, who picks up the phone and remembers their story. It works: our patients have left 79 five-star Google reviews and zero below.

The hard part is making that clear. Most people don’t immediately understand what membership-based primary care is, how it’s different from insurance, or why it’s worth paying for. Your job is to make it obvious, and human, in the first five seconds, and then prove it converts. You’ll own the words people read right before they decide to trust us with their health.

What you’d own

• Landing pages, SEO, emails, blog posts, LinkedIn, bios, PR angles, and patient education, in English and Portuguese

• The first five seconds of the website, and the A/B tests to keep making it better - you’ll get hands-on in the tools (Framer, our site, whatever it takes to ship) and pick them up fast

• Ad hooks, headlines, and creative briefs - you steer the message and read what’s converting, while freelancers and our team handle the spend

• A weekly shipping rhythm: new copy, a test, or a campaign every week, ideally something most days

• Freelancers when you need them (designers, video editors, ad buyers), without waiting on a team to make things

• AI workflows for research, drafting, image and video, and faster iteration

Why you’d actually want this

You ship daily and watch your work go live, instead of seeing it die in three rounds of approvals. You own the whole marketing surface, so the wins are yours. The product is real, so you never have to oversell it. And we’ll invest in you becoming an AI expert, not “I use ChatGPT” expert, but the kind who builds the workflows and systems that let one sharp person do the work of a team. If you’re earlier in your career but unusually tuned in, that’s fine. We care more about what you can make than how long you’ve been making it.

Who you are?

You’re a great writer before anything else. Native-level English, fluent Portuguese, and a real feel for Portuguese and expat culture (Brazilian Portuguese is fine if you can adapt the tone). You’re scrappy and fast, the kind of person who teaches themselves a tool over a weekend and ships something with it on Monday - whether that’s Framer, SEO, or a new AI workflow, you like getting your hands dirty. You’re already using AI in a serious way and can show us the actual workflows, not just first drafts. And because this is healthcare, you write with warmth and care, without sounding cold, salesy, or like you’re overpromising on someone’s health. Three or more years in marketing, growth, copy, or content helps, but your portfolio matters more than your timeline.
