I spent 20+ years as a patient within the MDVIP concierge program in the US. Given that I lived in Boston, one of the best cities in the world for healthcare, I had a very high bar against which to compare. It turns out that TejoMed has tapped into MDVIP's expertise as well with one of their advisors. To date, I have found the staff to be extremely professional, friendly, and responsive, and I am very pleased with Dr. Ares Hiawatha Rigas.

Wonderful experience! I've had personal functional health doctors in the United States and TejoMed seems to equal or exceed my previous experiences at a fraction of the price. So nice to have a one-stop shop for all of my health needs. Navigating a medical system in Portuguese isn't always easy...this makes it easy.

I just moved to Portugal 2 months ago and had my first appointment with Dr. Luísa Batista. She is a gem! Along with the rest of the team at TejoMed. The communication is solid and I feel taken care of, which is the best feeling.

I completed my first meeting at TejoMed with Dr. Batista and wow! I am so thrilled I found them. She spent 90 minutes with me going through my history and current experience. We are running all the tests I was hoping to run (the ones I am used to running with my former Functional doctor in the US) and I feel really confident and happy she will help me get to the bottom of what I am currently experiencing. Dr. Luisa is, hands down, the most knowledgeable, personable, and compassionate medical professional I've ever had the distinct honor of meeting and seeking care from. I am, admittedly, an American and cancer survivor who has had to 'prove' medical needs to my doctors, often with months and years passing before finding someone who would listen, and even then, with no explanation for the why behind the treatment plans they would recommend. I'm so glad I found her; as long as she offers care, I'll be seeing her!

TejoMed and Dr. Batista are all I could have hoped for in transitioning to Portugal from the U.S. for my medical care.
