I came in with strong convictions about what a health service could be. TejoMed ticked every box and then surprised me with more.

Yesterday I had my first in-person appointment with Dr. Luísa Batista. I read a lot about health, and I'm usually the one bringing up newer research or approaches. For the first time, I had someone on the other side who could beat that conversation and bring deep clinical expertise I simply don't have.

She also cared about the person sitting in front of her. That combination is rare. I think TejoMed is rewiring my brain about what healthcare should feel like.

My first appointment with TejoMed was such an amazing experience!! Luísa was so thorough. It made such a huge difference to be listened to, believed, taken seriously, and provided comprehensive solutions. For the first time maybe ever I feel excited about my future health treatments and outcomes. Many thanks to Luísa for being so warm, kind, and fun. As strange as it feels to say this after years of poor experiences in the medical industry back in America, I’m actually looking forward to my health journey with TejoMed.

I struggle with medical appointments and taking care of myself correctly because of ADHD. As such, I decide to try out a concierge health service so that I could get better support for my needs. Since the beginning I have been very well cared for and I have felt totally welcomed by everyone in the team. Every step of the way I have felt that is tailored exactly for me. Dra. Luísa is super nice and I felt very comfortable speaking to her openly abiut my worries and my goals. I one hundred percent recommend, because in health, each of our needs are unique.

This is the only place that has given me the proper amount of time, attention, and empathy to explain the issues I’ve been facing. I’m very grateful to have found it and to finally have a path forward.

my initial health appointment with TejoMed as a new subscribing member went well.

First, I appreciated all the preparation that goes into receiving me into my first appointment. Nurse Joana met with me weeks before and did a lovely job welcoming me and walking me through any and all questions I could before I even asked. She is warm, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.

When I arrived to the TejoMed office for my first appointment with Dra. Luísa, Jo was the kind lady who welcomed me, helped me feel very comfortable as she took me through some initial measurements.

Then I had a very long and thorough appointment with Dra. Luísa. She also was warm, friendly, and welcoming. She did well in educating me and discussing my lab results and she not only did that she also listened and was great at answering questions. My memory these days is fleeting, I'm learning perimenopause, and I appreciate that she's got a structure for helping me feel well looked after and cared for as I take her suggested route toward wellness and optimal health. She provided me with summarized notes so that I don't feel overwhelmed and in a panic trying to hold it all in and it's also comforting that I can contact the office for questions and support. Dra. Lúisa and her team seem confident that I can get back to myself soon, which I am very much looking forward to. I very much appreciate the way they work and in this particular phase of life it all feels very supportive and right on!

It is wonderful to feel heard by your Doctor. I now feel Health-Safe because I have a Doctor that has time for me and pays attention to what I say. I already had one fear cleared up. A simple thing that was worrying me a lot turns out to be nothing serious at all. I look forward to continuing this relationship and find answers to me health puzzles. I reccomend Dr Ares with all my heart

Having access to a doctor was the most important reason I joined TejoMed. Being able to communicate with the doctor without making an appointment has been fantastic. I have never had a more positive experience with a doctor than i had with Dr Luisa. She was supportive about each topic i wanted to discuss. I left the initial intake appt with a list of action items and were able to get medications the same day.

Dra Luisa at TejoMed is the best. Thorough and personable, makes going to the doctor fun (No, I am not kidding). My wife and I are thrilled with the service we receive from her. Recommend completely.

If you want a modern doctor who helps you stay up-to-date on your health, takes preventative measurements, and has enough time to really listen and care, TejoMed is the best and probably also only option in Portugal!
