Why this role matters

You will practice as an Associate Concierge Physician, partnering closely with our Lead Concierge Physician. The lead doctor is the primary physician for each member, and you work together on the care plan. You’ll handle most day-to-day care through secure messaging, making first-line decisions for common issues with our protocols. For complex or higher-risk situations, you and the lead doctor will review the case and align on next steps. As a team, you’ll deliver continuous, relationship-based care with measurable impact on healthspan.

What you’ll do

• Provide longitudinal remote care to TejoMed members in partnership with the lead concierge physician.

• Manage asynchronous care channel: triage the secure-message inbox, provide clear written guidance,and close the loop with succinct, patient-friendly next steps.

• Conduct occasional teleconsults for follow-ups, chronic-care check-ins, lifestyle and medication reviews, lab/result discussions, and care coordination.

• Renew prescriptions when appropriate; escalate complex cases thoughtfully and proactively.

• Lead proactive outreach (e.g., check-ins after care plans, medication changes, or acute issues).

• Contribute to personalized wellness plans - prevention strategies, women’s health pathways, sleep/nutrition/movement plans, and longevity protocols.

• Perform targeted clinical research to support root-cause assessments and evidence-based decision making.

• Set expectations in writing (what to watch for, when to update us, and when to escalate) so patients feel guided between visits.

• Collaborate in a calm, young, high-trust team: shared standards, case reviews, and continuous quality improvement.

Who you are

• Licensed physician (Ordem dos Médicos) with prescribing rights in Portugal.

• Specialty in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (GPs considered).

• Exceptional clinical writer in Portuguese and English - clear, concise, and reassuring in tone.

• Preventive-care mindset with strong interest in root-cause medicine.

• Organized, detail-driven, and comfortable owning a remote clinical workflow.

• Tech-friendly, curious, and energized by continuous improvement.
