Can I call or message my doctor between visits?
Yes. You’re never left to figure it out alone. As a member, you have access and can reach your doctor and care team by phone or email messaging. The result is fewer unknowns, faster reassurance, and the calm that comes from not doing this alone. For urgent needs, you have 24/7 access to your doctor and care team.
How fast can I be seen when sick?
When you’re down, we are there. We aim to get you same or next business day sick visits, in person or virtually when appropriate. For urgent after-hours concerns, use our 24/7 line to reach your doctor or care team. The outcome: you lose fewer days to “wait and see,” and you bounce back faster with a doctor who already knows your story.
Do you accept insurance?
TejoMed works alongside insurance and the membership fee is not covered by insurance. The membership provides things that insurance typically doesn’t cover (e.g., a dedicated relationship with one doctor, a small panel, comprehensive checkups, longer unhurried visits, direct communication, and more). Your insurance is used for labs, tests, and specialist referrals when applicable, while membership ensures you have a doctor who actually knows you.
Do you offer telemedicine and support while I travel?
Yes. Your care travels with you. We offer virtual visits when clinically appropriate and ongoing communication while you’re abroad, so your plan - and peace of mind - don’t pause for airports or time zones and care continues seamlessly.
