Front Desk & Patient Navigation Facilitator (Nurse)

Front Desk & Patient Navigation Facilitator (Nurse)

Lisbon, Portugal

Role Summary

You run the moving parts of a high-touch concierge clinic so members feel personally cared for from the first phone call to the last follow-up. The work is 80% coordination, hospitality, and team support. 20% hands-on clinical (triage, blood draws, vitals, InBody). This is not a clinical-first nursing role.

About TejoMed

TejoMed is redefining primary care in Portugal through a concierge membership model with a deliberately small patient panel, unhurried visits, and top access. We just opened our new clinic at Praça da Alegria, brought on another physician to meet growing demand, and rolled out the TejoMed data platform that pulls each member’s wearables, lab results, and fitness data into a single view. The clinic is moving fast, and this role is central to keeping that momentum going on the ground.

What You’ll Do
  • Run the schedule and the phone (most of your day). Schedule, confirm, reschedule. Answer the reception line with warmth, speed, and judgment. Book external appointments for members (specialists, imaging, partner labs). Make sure intake forms are done before every visit. Send proactive reminders for labs, vaccines, and annual exams.

  • Own the front desk and member experience. Greet members by name. Anticipate needs. Set the tone the moment someone walks in. Be the calm, warm, high-energy presence that makes a concierge clinic actually feel concierge.

  • Support leadership and your teammates. Take on research tasks (vendor comparisons, sourcing options, finding the right specialist). Manage personal scheduling for leadership when needed. Coordinate logistics for team events and partner visits. Be the trusted right hand for the things that don’t fit anywhere else but need to be handled well.

  • Handle the clinical 20%. Perform InBody assessments, take vitals, conduct blood draws and specimen collection during the morning lab window. Access patient records to prepare for visits and coordinate care.

  • Triage, route, document. Route inbound concerns to the right person (physician, clinical nurse, operations) using sound judgment. Capture clear notes on our digital platform. Flag what’s not working so we can improve it.

A Quick Honesty Check

This is the right role for some nurses and the wrong role for others. Please don’t apply if:

  • You want to work primarily as a nurse, health coach, or wellness coach

  • You expect most of your day at the bedside doing patient assessments

  • Your goal is to keep doing specialist clinical work

  • You need hybrid, part-time, or remote arrangements

  • You can’t commit to 9:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, fully in person at Praça da Alegria

If, on the other hand, you light up at the thought of running a beautifully organized clinic where every member feels known, keep reading.

What Success Looks Like at Six Months

Members ask for you by name. Physicians trust your judgment. The schedule runs on time. External bookings are fast and accurate. Leadership hands you a task and stops thinking about it because they know it’s handled. The clinic runs like clockwork because you’re running it.

What We Need From You

This is a personality-first hire. We can teach systems. We cannot teach warmth, energy, and the instinct to make people feel cared for. That part is who you are.

  • Genuinely warm and hospitality-minded. Members feel it from the first interaction.

  • High-energy. You move with purpose, follow up fast, make the day feel alive.

  • Tech-fluent and curious. You pick up new tools quickly (EHR, scheduling, AI, secure messaging) and look for ways to do things better.

  • Strong organizer. Dozens of small details, none dropped.

  • Confident on the phone all day. Call after call, each one warm.

  • Trusted right hand. You happily pitch in beyond your job description. Leadership and teammates can hand you something and trust it gets done.

  • C1 or higher in Portuguese and English. This isn’t a role to grow your English in. Members hear from you every day on the phone and in writing.

  • Licensed Nurse in Portugal (Enfermeira/o). A baseline qualifier so you can access patient records and perform the clinical 20%.

  • 1 to 5 years of professional experience.

Bonus: experience in integrative clinics, or luxury hospitality (hotels, high-end service); blood draw experience; familiarity with the Portuguese private healthcare landscape.

What You Get
  • Predictable hours, no shifts, weekends and holidays back

  • Compensation depending on experience, plus performance bonus and continuing-education stipend

  • A central role in a mission-led team reinventing primary care in Portugal

  • Modern Lisbon clinic at Praça da Alegria, top-tier physicians who will rely on you
